Missy has been accompanying on the piano for many years. She began accompanying in high school for solo contest. She also played solo specials at church regularly. During her freshman year at Winthrop University, Missy accompanied and music directed two shows for the theater department and was was also the student accompanist for the musical theater course. She spent a summer as the second keyboard at Galveston Island's outdoor theater company.
Missy has since assisted the musical direction and acted as part-time accompanist for the "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum" and "The Gondoliers" at Winthrop University. She currently accompanies for her classes on the keyboard everyday at Lake Worth Christian School.
Missy was also the part-time accompanist at Lake Worth Christian Reformed Church. She has an extensive knowledge of hymns and contemporary worship music and can sight read regular piano music and chord charts.
